ShootFlow Pro

Privacy Policy

We believe in complete transparency and strict confidentiality.

This policy outlines how ShootFlow Pro protects, manages, and respects your photographic data.

LEGAL SPECIFICATIONS

Detailed Terms

ShootFlow Pro is operated by Brian Patamakanthin.

This policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and delete information when you use ShootFlow Pro.

For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

This policy applies to ShootFlow Pro on supported platforms. References to Apple’s App Store or Google Play apply when you use the app or purchase a subscription through that store.

1. Information we collect

Account information

We collect your email address, account identifier, and any profile information you provide. Our authentication provider processes your sign-in credentials to create and secure your account.

Shoot and collaboration information

We collect information you enter into the service, including Shoot details, shot lists, categories, timelines, notes, templates, completion marks, invitations, team permissions, and client-sharing settings.

We record which account created shared items and notes so we can enforce editing permissions and handle account deletion.

Photos you choose to upload

We collect images you choose to add to My Poses or Shoot Inspiration, together with their titles, notes, and organization into galleries.

The app uploads only images you select, not your entire photo library. Before uploading, it processes images to reduce their size and remove embedded GPS and camera metadata. This does not remove information visible within the image itself.

Deleting an image from ShootFlow Pro does not delete the original photograph from your device.

Plan and subscription information

We collect your plan, usage counts, subscription status, product and transaction identifiers, renewal or expiration information, and the account identifier used to connect purchases to your ShootFlow Pro account.

Apple or Google Play processes store purchases, where available. RevenueCat helps us verify purchases and manage subscription access. We do not receive your full payment-card details from the purchasing store.

Support information

We receive your email address and any messages, screenshots, or other information you send when requesting assistance.

Technical information

Our service providers may process IP addresses, device and application information, authentication records, request logs, and error information to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

Create and secure your account.

Save, display, and synchronize your content.

Provide team collaboration and client-sharing features.

Apply editing and access permissions.

Verify subscriptions and enforce plan limits.

Process deletion requests and show cleanup status.

Respond to support requests.

Maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and prevent misuse.

Meet applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, use your Shoot content for advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising.

3. Sharing and service providers

People you share with

Authorized collaborators can access shared Shoots according to their assigned permissions and the owner’s plan.

Client links give anyone who has the link a limited, read-only view of one Shoot, without an account. A client link shows the Shoot name, date, type, time zone and start and end times, the client name you entered for that link, and when the link expires.

If you turn on timeline sharing for a link, that link also shows your timeline entry titles and their start and end times. Timeline sharing is off by default, and only the Shoot owner can turn it on or off.

Client links never show timeline notes, Shoot Notes, shot lists, completion or Must Have marks, inspiration images, or team membership.

You can turn timeline sharing off or revoke a link at any time. Turning timeline sharing off hides the timeline on subsequent page loads. Revoked or expired links no longer provide access. People who have already viewed or copied the page may keep what they saw.

My Poses images are available only to your account through the app. Images added to Shoot Inspiration are available to the Shoot’s owner and authorized team members.

People who download or copy shared information may retain those copies outside ShootFlow Pro after access is removed or content is deleted.

Supabase

We use Supabase for account authentication, database storage, private image storage, and synchronization.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and manage subscription access. It processes your ShootFlow Pro account identifier and subscription information for these purposes.

Apple and Google Play

The store you use may process app-distribution, purchase, payment, and subscription information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Google Fonts

The app downloads fonts from Google’s font servers when needed and caches them on your device. These requests transmit your IP address and technical request information to Google. We do not include your ShootFlow Pro account details in font requests.

Legal and security reasons

We may disclose information where legally required or reasonably necessary to address security incidents, protect users, or enforce our terms.

4. Image access and local storage

Uploaded images are stored privately. Authorized users view them through temporary links that expire within 10 minutes.

Removing someone’s access to a Shoot prevents new image links from being issued to them. Previously issued links may remain usable until they expire.

The app stores some information locally on your device, including cached Shoot content and pending changes, to support its functionality.

When you delete your account through the app, its account-related offline cache on that device is removed. Copies on other devices may remain locally until those devices sign out or their local app data is removed. Account deletion prevents those devices from continuing to access the deleted account on our servers.

The device used for account deletion also stores a random deletion receipt so the sign-in screen can display cleanup progress. The receipt does not contain your account details.

5. Retention and deleting individual content

We retain account and Shoot information while needed to provide the service, subject to deletion requests and applicable legal obligations.

Deleting an individual Shoot removes its content from the app’s database. A minimal creation-usage record remains associated with your account to enforce the Free plan allowance. It does not contain the deleted Shoot’s content.

Completing, archiving, or deleting individual Shoots, signing out, or reinstalling the app does not reset consumed Free creations.

When an image is deleted, its database record is removed and the service attempts to remove its stored file. Scheduled cleanup retries file removals that do not complete immediately.

Leaving a shared Shoot or being removed from it does not automatically delete your contributions. Account deletion follows the separate rules below.

6. Account deletion

How to request deletion

In a supported app version, open Settings → Delete Account and follow the confirmation instructions.

You can also request account deletion without installing or opening the app by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Delete my ShootFlow Pro account.” Include the email address associated with your account. Do not send your password.

We may need to verify that you control the account before fulfilling a request.

What is removed

Account deletion removes your sign-in account and profile, owned Shoots and their contents, associated memberships and invitations, client links you created, personal saved images and galleries, and account-linked plan, billing, and usage records from the app’s database, except for the limited cleanup and retention records described in Section 7.

Deleting a Shoot you own also removes content contributed to that Shoot by collaborators.

Full account deletion removes your Free-creation usage history. A new account receives the Free allowance available at that time. Creating a new account does not restore deleted content.

Your contributions to other people’s Shoots

Deleting your account removes your notes sections and the shots, categories, timeline items, and images you created in another person’s Shoot, including items that the Shoot owner edited.

Separately created items belonging to other participants remain. Other participants’ shots within a category you created are moved to another category in that Shoot rather than deleted with your category.

Shared completion and Must Have marks may remain.

File and subscription-provider cleanup

After the account is removed, stored-file and RevenueCat cleanup may continue in the background.

Image-file cleanup normally occurs within about 10 minutes. RevenueCat cleanup is usually processed within an hour, but failures or provider availability can delay completion.

For deletion initiated through the app, the device used for deletion displays cleanup status on its sign-in screen. Pending cleanup is not reported as complete. Tasks that remain unresolved after three days are flagged for manual attention; three days is not a guaranteed completion deadline.

If a RevenueCat purchase record is also linked to another existing ShootFlow Pro account, it may need to remain associated with that account. The deletion status identifies this situation.

Deletion does not remove original photographs from your device, copies saved by other people outside the service, or purchase records independently retained by Apple or Google.

7. Limited records after account deletion

Cleanup and status records

While cleanup remains pending, we retain the former account’s random identifier and the limited information needed to complete the work.

We store a fingerprint of the device’s random deletion receipt to provide status without retaining your email address for that purpose.

The former account identifier is removed from the deletion-status record once cleanup is confirmed. The completed status record is removed when you acknowledge completion on the device or through scheduled cleanup after its 30-day retention period.

Unresolved cleanup records remain available until the work is resolved.

Later billing messages

A store subscription may continue after account deletion, so later billing messages can still arrive.

For messages that do not identify an existing account, we retain only a limited event identifier and event type for duplicate prevention, with a 30-day retention period followed by scheduled deletion.

These messages do not recreate your deleted profile, restore content, or automatically grant access to a deleted account.

If a later message indicates that RevenueCat still holds a record for a former account, we may retain that account identifier while reviewing and resolving the record, including checking whether it is linked to another existing account.

Provider logs and backups

Deleting records from the app’s active database does not necessarily remove them immediately from provider authentication logs, system logs, email-delivery records, or backups.

These records follow the applicable provider’s retention arrangements and our service configuration. Store providers may independently retain transaction records under their own policies and legal obligations.

8. Subscriptions and account deletion

Deleting ShootFlow Pro or deleting your ShootFlow Pro account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.

To stop future billing, manage or cancel the subscription through the store where you purchased it:

Apple App Store: your Apple account’s subscription settings.

Google Play: Payments & subscriptions in Google Play.

You do not have to cancel a subscription before requesting account deletion.

Restoring a purchase does not restore deleted Shoots or other deleted content.

9. Your choices and privacy requests

You can manage the information you enter, choose what you share, and use the editing and deletion controls available to your account.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain uses.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your account.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections and account-based access controls to help protect information.

No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials private and avoid uploading sensitive information that is unnecessary for your work.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
